A NOTE FROM THE PRESIDENT

Another July comes around so fast, doesn't it? It feels like just yesterday we were discussing the plans for this year's production, and now, here we are, on the cusp of another magnificent show. I can hardly contain my excitement!

It is truly an honor for Abbey Musical Society to present "Rock of Ages" this July. The anticipation has been building, and I am continuously amazed by the dedication and talent of our cast and crew. They have poured their hearts and souls into every aspect of this production, from perfecting their characters onstage to meticulously crafting the sets and costumes backstage. The result is nothing short of extraordinary, and I am confident that this will be an evening to remember for all who attend.

A NOTE FROM THE CHAIRMAN

Your continued support of Abbey Musical Society means the world to us. Each and every one of you, as audience members, plays a crucial role in our success. Your presence and enthusiasm during our performances fuel our passion and inspire us to create memorable experiences.

Tonight, we present to you Rock of Ages, a well-known classic that marks a departure from our previous production, The Phantom of the Opera. We genuinely hope that it brings you joy and entertainment. In addition, we would like to extend a warm welcome to our esteemed guest, Russ Palmer, from ACT (Association of Community Theatre). Russ has been a tremendous support to us throughout our journey, and we are grateful for his unwavering dedication to local theatre.

Looking ahead, we are thrilled to announce our next productions, The Addams Family, which will run from the 10th - 15th March 2025. Once again, we invite you to join us at The Forum for another spectacular show!

As we conclude this evening, I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to each and every one of you for joining us tonight. Local theatre groups like ours rely on the support of our community, and we truly appreciate your presence here. Your continued support is vital to keeping the arts alive and thriving in our town. We encourage you to spread the word, bring your friends and family, and together, let's ensure the magic of local theatre continues to flourish. Thank you once again, and enjoy the show!
